Scrum Master

Job Summary

The incumbent will act as a key facilitator and trainer. The role will provide scrum master and project management expertise to help the teams complete project assignments in a timely manner. This role primarily focuses on helping teams become more productive, work closely with them to understand their process and optimize them for shorter cycle time on each ticket. Use OKRs to help drive alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Helping plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the project.
• Help improve efficiency and productivity, maximizing the team’s ability to deliver value.
• Facilitate the teams by removing the impediments and providing coaching & training
• Conduct the training sessions for the teams
• Help in the development and implementation of agile projects. Maintain and present status reports of the projects
• Assist in team development by removing roadblocks to their work, mentoring them, and making good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
• Promote empowerment in the team by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with a meaningful contribution
• Develop cross-functional project management processes and techniques to expedite workflow, simplify implementation and reduce operating costs.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree 
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the similar field
• Scrum related certifications are a plus.

Must Have Requirements

• Knowledge and application of industry standard Agile Management processes and procedures
• Have experienced working in a continuous delivery environment
• Experienced Jira user, able to generate insightful reports and configure automation for repeated tasks.
• Good conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work under tight deadlines, providing AGILE, economical, and focused solutions
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to self-manage
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Superior critical thinking capabilities
• Comfort with quickly changing priorities and a high level of adaptability and flexibility
